My Olaplex Hair Experience
For around the last 8 months, I have been using Olaplex on my hair at home. I wanted to wait a while before writing this post to fully share my experience and my overall thoughts. You can get Olapex treatments in the salon but the products are now widely available to buy online. I’ve been using three products from the Olaplex range which I picked up from Notino; No3, No4 and No5. These hair care products have been hailed for completely transforming hair, especially hair that is badly damaged from the effects of dye or bleach. I’m actually really fortunate that my hair’s not in bad condition, it’s not been bleached in 9 years. So this review is based on my personal experience and whether it’s even worth using on hair in a fairly decent condition.
Olaplex is a treatment that claims to repair, protect and strengthen your hair. These treatments aren’t a quick fix, they work at your hair to permanently repair, strengthen your hair and really restore the hairs bonds. I believe there are six products in the range but I use No3 which is their Hair Perfector treatment and the complementing No4 & No5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo & Conditioner.

The No3 Hair Perfector treatment is the product that really caused the hype for Olaplex. The bottle itself is 100ml and is quite small considering it’s a pricey product. However, you can get at least four uses out of this so it should last you at least one month if you use this product weekly. I personally use this fortnightly or even longer as my hair’s not in terrible condition and I’m not currently dying it. The product is to be applied on towel-dried hair (not washed) and I use it all over before leaving it. The bottle suggests a minimum of 10 mins but the longer you leave it on, the better the effects can be. I tend to leave it for around 90 mins to two hours.

As I said, I also use the No4 & No5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo & Conditioner. When it comes to washing off the No3 Hair Perfector, I wash my hair, as usual, using No4 and No5 and I find that blow drying works the best too. I’ve got to say, I’ve been so impressed with the condition of my hair since using Olaplex. I know these products work best on hair that is regularly dyed to protect against the effects of colouring and chemicals but I’ve seen such a difference in the condition of my hair that I can only imagine it can work wonders on heavily damaged hair. My hair feels so much softer and silkier since using Olaplex and it just looks healthier. I’ve been thoroughly impressed and although they are quite pricey products, they are worth every penny to get your hair in tip-top condition.

Choosing a Narciso Rodriguez Fragrance for Winter
Selecting a winter fragrance involves embracing scents that complement the season’s chill. Opt for warm, comforting notes like vanilla, amber, and sandalwood, which evoke coziness. It’s no secret how much I love Narciso Rodriguez fragrances and I think they are an excellent fit for Winter. Narciso Rodriguez fragrances are always great classic scents with a new, modern spirit.

The Narciso Rodriguez for Her series, an iconic collection, blends floral and woody accords with musk, creating a timeless allure. The mix of amber, patchouli, and woods elements are what makes the scent great for the cooler months and even in Spring. I currently am using three different Narcisco Rodriguez fragrances which are the classic For Her eau de Parfum, For Her eau de Toilette and For Her Fleur Musc.
These three fragrances are all from the For Her line with three different top notes. Whilst all the fragrances have notes of musk, Amber, Patchouli and are all pretty florally, each one is totally different. However, if you are a fan of the For Her eau de Parfum original, you’ll be a fan of all of them! The original carried notes of rose and peach whilst the eau de toilette counterpart has top notes of Osmanthus. The For Her Fleur Musc fragrance has top notes of pink pepper and rose. I think all three are great classic scents and these are all favourites in my collection.

Ultimately, choosing winter perfumes is about capturing the essence of the season in a bottle, creating a sensory experience that resonates with the colder, more intimate atmosphere.
