Suede Jacket & Stripes

Can’t stop, won’t stop wearing these over the knee boots. I know, I know they’ve featured quite heavily in my outfit posts recently but I’m obsessed. I can’t get enough of them! Today’s outfit features my new Faux Suede Jacket from Bon Prix. I’ve had this jacket a couple of months now but this was it’s first outing the other day. I’ve not actually got anything in my wardrobe in this beautiful rusty orange shade before as I didn’t think it was for me but I’ve actually fallen in love with it. The jacket is one of those pieces that really pulls together an outfit and makes it into a statement look.

My Spring Adventure at Windsor Castle

My Spring Adventure at Windsor Castle

Last week was a busy one, I spent a couple of days in Brighton before heading over to Windsor and then on to London for Traverse. Despite being on the road to Summer, we wasn’t blessed with the best weather hence the gloomy photos. It could’ve been worse but dark skies loomed overhead for the majority of my time in Brighton and Windsor.

During our time in Windsor, my Mum and I stayed in the Macdonald Windsor Hotel which was conveniently right across the street from the castle. Obviously, the biggest attraction in the town is Windsor Castle which is an official royal residence. The Queen actually spends a lot of time at Windsor Castle, she was also there when we were! Although we didn’t see her peering out of any windows!

We made our way to the castle for the Changing of the Guard which takes place almost every day at 11am. I’d certainly recommend getting there early to get a good spot. The Changing of the Guard lasts for about half an hour and features a very cute royal dog! I filmed a lot of the ceremony which will be in my upcoming vlog!

Except for the castle’s grounds and courtyards, you are unable to take any photo’s. The State Rooms, Queen Mary’s Doll House and St.George’s Chapel were all open to view. They all were incredibly beautiful, just take my word for it! If you’d like to see photo’s of the room’s interiors, it’s all on the Windsor Castle website. My favourite was Queen Mary’s Doll’s House which just blew me away with all the intricate and extravagant detailing. The took over three years to design and build by Sir Edwin Lutyens and features cars handmade by Rolls Royce!

After exploring Windsor Castle, we had a wander around the town centre. Windsor is a pretty small town but their shopping is great! The Royal Shopping Centre is attached to the Windsor and Eton railway station and is home to stores such as Kiehl’s, Bobbi Brown and Space:NK. There is also lot’s of cute little quintessentially British pubs located just off the high street, we went in a couple!

Right across from our hotel was the Guildhall which I immediately recognized from the Queen’s 90th Birthday. This was also the location Prince Charles and Camilla got married. I think you can actually go inside but we didn’t have a chance. Further along the high street you’ll find the Long Walk which offers alternative views of Windsor Castle and is just a truly picture perfect sight.

On to my outfit, I wanted something stylish yet comfortable to walk around all day in. I do love me some stripes so I decided on this snazzy number from Boohoo’s Jumpsuit & Playsuit section. It was still pretty chilly out so I opted for a grey roll neck top on underneath and some tan sandals. I also brought along my red raincoat from New Look to wear during the rain showers.

I had a such a lovely time in Windsor and would love to visit again soon. I can’t believe I’ve never been before and it’s only 40 minutes on a train from London. My Mum and I had a great Spring Adventure!

Gingham & Denim in Navigli, Milan

Gingham & Denim in Navigli, Milan

We all know that I love my Fashion and Travel but it’s been a while since my last outfit post. I was lucky enough to be sent to Milan last weekend with Cheapflights.co.uk. The trip was the perfect excuse to dress up and take some photos. I’ve been a little absent with the outfits as I fractured my foot in May and had to wear a very fetching boot for a couple of weeks. Have no fear though, I’m back and I’m ready to start shooting some new outfit looks.

When in Milan, I spent hours researching where to go and where to eat. On the first evening, we decided to check out the Navigli district which surrounds the Naviglio Grande canal. I absolutly just fell in love with this area, it was so lovely just to wander along the canal at sunset. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty touristy but it’s a great atmosphere to sit along the canal side and enjoy some drinks. This trip was my first trip to Italy and it was all just so Italian and that really excited me.

I wish I’d got more photos in the area but we had planned to return the following night, that’s until a thunder storm came along and ruined our plans. I did, however, manage to capture some photos of my outfit whilst taking in the lovely views. We all know I’m just a tad obsessed with anything gingham right now, I mean, who isn’t?! How damn cute this this top from MissPap?!

I’m sure I’ll be banging on about the Navigli District in future posts as well as giving you a full run down of the trip. I can’t wait to share it all with you as I had such an amazing time in Milan seeing all the sights. I took SO MANY photos and this weekend I’m going to get right on it and start editing my vlog!

Are you loving the gingham trend? Have you been to Milan before?

Spring Showers with Regatta

Spring Showers with Regatta

How is it May already?! It’s hard to believe how quickly has been flying past but we’re now well into Spring and the weather has been rather pants. In true British Bank Holiday fashion, it’s absolutely poured down and at the moment, it’s blowing a right gale out there. This weekend, we’ve enjoyed a few Rainy Spring Walks in the local area. I’ve been loving how much we can really now appreciate our local area and weekend walks have been a frequent occurrence for Stefan and I. Thankfully I’ve been working with Outdoor Clothing brand Regatta so I’m ready for those Spring rain showers.

I’ve never really been an outdoorsy person but the last year really has made me appreciate our local area so much more. I’ve been loving going for woodland walks or long hikes along the coastline. This weekend, we visited a local woodland and although it was quite muddy, I was wearing my new Regatta Wellies. The ones I’m wearing are the Harriet Ankle Wellingtons and have little polka dots on the elastics. They were super comfortable for my walk and perfect for keeping my feet dry! The Harriet Wellingtons match perfectly with the Navy Corinne Packaway Jacket. These jackets are great as they pack away into little bags. So if the weather turns mid-hike, you can just unpack your jacket and keep dry!

As I’ve mentioned, the last year I’ve really enjoyed been outdoors more. Who would have thought it eh? With travel being very limited, it’s been an excellent opportunity to explore the UK’s greatest destinations. Last year, we visited The Cotswolds and The Scottish Highlands and we’ve now booked The Lake District and Cornwall for this Summer. My new items from Regatta will be perfect, especially for The Lake District. I’m sure we all know we can’t trust the weather in Britain so the pack away jacket will be excellent to take along with me to The Lakes.

The Benefits of CO2 Laser and the Conditions It Can Treat

The CO2 laser is a revolutionary treatment that offers a versatile solution for improving skin health and appearance. Whether you’re aiming to rejuvenate your skin or target specific conditions, this treatment delivers precision and outstanding results. Let’s explore the benefits of the CO2 laser and the conditions it can effectively treat.

Benefits of CO2 Laser

Improves Skin Texture
One of the key benefits of the CO2 laser is its ability to smoothen uneven skin. By removing damaged outer layers and stimulating new cell growth, the treatment refines the skin’s texture, leaving it soft, smooth, and visibly healthier.

Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles
The CO2 laser is highly effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. By boosting collagen production, it enhances skin elasticity, resulting in a firmer, more youthful complexion.

Minimises Scarring
Whether from acne or injury, scars can significantly impact confidence. The CO2 laser targets the deeper layers of the skin to reduce the appearance of scars, encouraging even skin tone and texture.

Treats Hyperpigmentation
Pigmentation issues such as age spots, sunspots, and melasma are no match for the laser. The treatment breaks down discoloured areas to reveal a more even complexion.

Boosts Collagen Production
Collagen is vital for youthful skin, and the laser excels at stimulating collagen growth. This benefit ensures long-term skin health, improving firmness and reducing signs of ageing over time.

Non-Surgical and Minimal Downtime
For those looking for dramatic results without undergoing surgery, the CO2 laser is an excellent choice. With minimal downtime, it provides impressive improvements in a relatively short recovery period.

Conditions Treated by CO2 Laser

Acne Scars
The treatment is a popular choice for treating acne scars. By resurfacing the skin and promoting healing, it softens and reduces scar appearance, restoring smoothness.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Fine lines around the eyes, mouth, and forehead can be effectively diminished with this treatment. It’s ideal for those seeking a non-invasive alternative to anti-ageing procedures.

Sun Damage
Sunspots, rough patches, and uneven tone caused by sun exposure can all be improved with the laser. It rejuvenates the skin by removing damaged cells and stimulating repair.

Hyperpigmentation
The CO2 laser addresses pigmentation issues such as age spots, melasma, and uneven skin tone, delivering a brighter, more balanced complexion.

Stretch Marks
For those struggling with stretch marks, the laser can help reduce their appearance by promoting collagen regeneration and improving skin elasticity.

Surgical Scars
Additionally, the treatment can also soften and minimise post-surgical scars, making it a versatile option for scar reduction.
