Protecting Your Skin This Summer
Today’s post is a pretty important one. Summer is officially on its way and you’re main priority should be protecting your skin. Whilst you should be wearing SPF all year round, now is a good time as the weather is picking up to highlight the importance of protecting your skin. Letting your skin burn can have drastic lasting effects which later in life could massively affect you. Whether you’re planning on going out in the UK sun or trying to get abroad, I’d highly encourage you to stock up on some sun creams.
There are so many products which you can use to protect your skin. I find that it’s important to get an SPF which you can wear daily and then an easy sunscreen to apply as and when. I’ve been using the Piz Buin which I picked up from Notino and comes in a spray form and it’s super easy to apply. It literally takes minutes and can protect your skin from burning. The Piz Buin Instant Glow which is what I use also gives your skin a great glow so if you’ve got your legs out, you look pretty damn radiant! One thing I do try and avoid when it comes to sunscreen and that is any oily formulas. I can’t be doing with oils especially when you’re at the beach. This Piz Buin one is a great consistency.

I’ve also used a few products from the brand Lancaster. It’s usually a little more pricer but the products are of great quality. I’d highly recommend checking out their range, especially for face suncreams. There are so many different products from ones that stay matte whilst working out to maximising your tan. As I said you should really be wearing SPF all year round, even in winter when it’s dull and cold outside. I’d highly recommend picking up an SPF or a moisturised which has SPF already in it and incorporate it into your daily routine. It’s better to be safe than sorry as the effects of sun damage can sometimes be irreversible.
Revolution Skincare Glycolic Overnight Moisture Cream Review
I’ve got lots of beauty posts coming your way! I’ve been trying out lots of new products which I can’t wait to share with you all. Today’s post is all about the Revolution Skincare Glycolic Overnight Moisture Cream which I picked up from Notino. I’ve added a few new products to my skincare routine but I was lacking a night cream. However, I think this Revolution Skincare Glycolic Cream could be a great addition to my routine.

Glycolic Acid for skin is something that gets mentioned a lot in skincare, but what actually is it? It’s a chemical exfoliant ingrediant that comes from sugar cane and is part of the AHA family. Glycolic Acid essentially gently exfoliate the skin by breaking down dead skin cells without having to use a scrub. It’s important not to overuse Glycolic Acid as it can have the opposite effects on your skin. The Glycolic Overnight Moisture Cream by Revolution Skincare is formulated with 7% Glycolic Acid so you are able to use it daily on an evening.

The overnight moisture cream comes in a simple white bottle but it’s the pump that I like. You can push it down and usually, only one pump can do my whole face. This product really does go a long way. There isn’t really a lot to say about the cream, it seems like a great consistency, not too oily or greasy and it doesn’t have an offensive scent. The cream isn’t too heavy and although I have combination skin, I think it would also work well on oily skin. The main purpose of the cream is to smooth and even the skin texture whilst leaving it looking radiant. Now, I’m all for a radiance skin complexion.
After using this product for the last 3 or 4 weeks, I’ve got to say I’m impressed. I’ve applied the cream as part of my evening skincare routine and in the morning, my skin does look pretty amazing. My skin feels overall a lot smoother, I don’t find myself having dry skin and overall, it looks rather radiant as promised. I’m certainly going to keep using this product! Revolution Skincare is a high street brand so you’re not breaking the bank by buying it. This is definitely one to try if you’re looking for an evening cream!
